Step 1 - Start with the Data Sheet Table - Bring up the pin table in Adobe, go to page 4.   Extract the page transferring it to the PCB Matrix Symbol Wizard.

Step 2 - PDF Scratch PAD -  Paste the table into the scratch pad.  Create a Table, tag the top row to be ignored, tag the Pin Name Column, the Pin Number Column, and the Pin Name columns.  Export the table to the Symbol Wizard Spread Sheet.

Step 3 - Define Part - Define the new part name, and check the data sheet. Correct the  error which are errors in the data sheet content highlighted in red.  the CP is a bi-directional pin.

Step 4 - Check and Save the Datasheet - Recheck the data sheet.  Note the busses have been flattened out to the scalars but the busses retained their structures.

Step 4 - Sort the Data Sheet, Pin Name, Bus High to Low

Step 5 -  Create Unique Pin Names - Note that the VSS, VDD, and NC pins if placed on the symbols in many EDA tools must be unique pin name.  Create unique pin names for these pins.  Save the spread sheet.

Step 6 - Partitioning Setup - The partitioning step can only be started after the data sheet is checked with no errors.  Once the partitioning process is started, those functions which must be performed prior to partitioning the data sheet are grayed out.  Notice that the pin functions button are now grayed out.  To initiate the partitioning process, select the Next Hetero button.

Step 7 - Become acquainted with the spread sheet selection buttons.

Step 8 - Become acquainted with the pin assign buttons in the spread sheet. These functions also exists on the right mouse button of the mouse.  These buttons include:

The Assign Right button assign the pins to the right side as follows.  Notice that the pins remain selected which allows you to move the pins by selecting the pin move button in the symbol graphics window.  To move the pins, select the Move button in the graphics window toolbar, or right mouse button MOVE click.

Drag the pins over to the area where they are to be moved, and mouse click to move the buttons.

Step 9  - Go to the next hetero by selecting the Next Hetero button.  If you select the Show Floor Plan from the spread sheet toolbar, only those pins on the floor plan will be displayed.  If you select Show Hetero from the spread sheet toolbar, only those pins assigned to the selected hetero (symbol number 2 ) will be displayed.  Continue with the process assigning the pins.

Assign the remaining pins to the blocks.

Place the power pins on the last hetero.

Step 10 - The partitioning process is now complete.  Selecting Generate All generates the entire symbol with all of the conditional properties set.  Turn the visibility on for the properties and notice that the full hetero and NC Signal properties are displayed (DxDesigner export).

Step 11 - Obtain a part summary report.
